Duct Hood Insulation Upgrade #30736. When the entire cooling unit will be placed inside the cellar, the rear (hot side) of the cooling unit must be ducted to and from outside the cellar. 

In this scenario, the duct hood and ducting must be insulated to minimize the transfer of heat into the cellar. 

This upgrade package provides 5/16″ inches of factory-installed Reflectix insulation to the inside walls of the duct hood, providing R-2 protection for the hood. 

R-6 insulated ducting is sold separately.

Compatible with ducts for 1800 and VS self-contained systems. Not compatible with Split, Houdini or Air Handler systems.
